Pre-congress activities

Discover the rich history of Helsinki on a guided 1.5-hour walking tour through the city’s most iconic landmarks. Starting from Musiikkitalo, the tour takes you to Senate Square, the historic heart of the city, where Helsinki’s most important buildings reflect centuries of Finnish history.

The tour is not included in the registration fee, tickets to be bought separately via the congress registration form. Limited number of tickets available. (The tour is subject to a minimum of 10 registered participants.)

Welcome reception

Join us for the Welcome Reception, hosted by the City of Helsinki, on the first evening of the congress, following the scientific programme.

Take the opportunity to meet colleagues from across the Nordic region and beyond and build new connections!

A light savory meal, a glass of wine and other refreshments will be served at the reception.

Dinner

Step into history and enjoy an unforgettable evening at the Congress Dinner, held on the island fortress of Suomenlinna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A short ferry ride across the sea will take you to this extraordinary setting, where Nordic light, maritime atmosphere, and centuries of history create a truly special backdrop. The dinner will bring together delegates for fine food, warm company, and memorable moments to share long after the congress.
